Donna Murray is a Registered Psychologist with expertise in Educational and Developmental Psychology. She has had over 20 years experience working with children and families in Australia and internationally. Donna completed her Masters in Educational and Developmental Psychology at Monash University. She also has a Masters Degree in Education, focusing on counselling and learning support. As a developmental practitioner she works with clients across the lifespan, and has a special interests in anxiety and adjustment issues, parenting, challenging behaviour, learning and education.
Donna works with children and their families, and also with adults with disabilities. She is experienced in a range of therapies and draws upon her experience to support client’s individual needs. Donna has worked extensively in schools, early intervention and mental health settings. She believes in working collaboratively with families to strengthen outcomes. The importance of relationships and wellbeing are considered key to change.
Donna has worked across South East Asia providing psycho-educational assessment to international schools and embassies. She provides comprehensive assessments of learning to identify the students learning profile and range of strengths and weaknesses in order to establish systems of support. She provides detailed assessment reports and recommendations to assist students and their educators in developing evidence-based learning plans and maximise learning outcomes. Where possible Donna is able to conduct in-school observations and liaise with other professionals as part of the assessment process.
