Dana Tyquin
Clinical Psychologist
Dana completed her Clinical endorsement in 2021 and enjoys working with adolescents and adults, and her experience is drawn from community, hospital and private practise settings. Dana enjoys working with a range of psychological issues, including depression, anxiety, stress, parenting issues, chronic health problems, relationship problems, bereavement and lifestyle changes. Dana also enjoys working with people experiencing drug and alcohol problems, and she has facilitated multiple substance abuse intervention programs for Queensland Corrective Services.
Dana uses a range of therapeutic frameworks within her practise, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). Dana’s warm and personable approach to client care enables her to be relatable, kind and understanding to people from all walks of life. Dana’s no judgement approach ensures that clients feel they can be honest and well-supported.
