Clinical Psychologist

Jaime is a Clinical Psychologist and completed her Doctorate of Clinical Psychology through the University of Queensland. Jaime has approximately 20 years of experience working with children, adolescents and families in government services and private practice settings. She has extensive experience working in the area of child development, having spent many years working within the multi-disciplinary, community-based Child Development Service (Qld Health).

Jaime has a particular interest in working with children and young people with anxiety, Autism,  ADHD, and neurodevelopmental and learning differences. She is experienced in administering a range of psychometric assessments to investigate learning disorders, attentional and behavioural challenges, and developmental concerns. She is additionally trained in the use of the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS).

Jaime’s approach is evidence based, client-centred and strengths-focused and she works collaboratively with families, schools, and other multi-disciplinary professionals, where appropriate, to ensure supports and strategies are targeted and holistic.
